NFC Phase II has been catching immense investor attention for the last few months, but the activity will most likely slow down now because the management elections, which were supposed to be held on April 24, have been postposed once again. A party to the elections has taken a stay from the court and the court hearing in this regard is due on May 11.
According to a society official, there are three groups fighting each other to take charge of the management and this clash between the groups is delaying the project.
The society official also said that no development is being carried out in Phase II, however, full-fledged development work will be started once management committee has been elected. Furthermore, the official did not give any date for possession handover in the phase.
Asked about the development of Lahore Ring Road, the official said that the LRR route would disturb some area of Block A only and assured us that the society has alternate plots to compensate affectees.
According to Shafqat Basheer of Green City Estates, plot owners are now willing to sell their properties in the locality, but buyers are scarce in number.

Where is the project headed?
The project is headed nowhere in the near future, but this does not mean it has lost its investment potential. However, anyone willing to invest in the society should bear in mind that their plot values will mature in the long term.
I would suggest investors adopt a wait-and-see policy until May 11 and take any investment decision after this date. I hope the management-related issues will be resolved soon.

The LRRA is already working on Package 1 and 2 of the LRR.

I think it is a plan, delay and delay. The more delay the more prices will remain in control , the more will be sale purchase , the more will be the profit for them.

You mentioned in your article that only Few plots in A block will get effected by LRR.
Can you please shed some light about Commercial plots on main boulevard and on back of them. As per LRR map those plots will also gets effected, is there any news from NFC Society about those commercial plots and if those are getting effecting, would the Society also allocate alternate commercial plots to effecties?
