The plan’s development has begun in key departments of the Traffic Engineering & Planning Agency (TEPA) and the city district government. The related developments on the project will begin once the authorities grant approval. Implementation of the proposed plan will fix traffic-related issues on the road.
According to CTO Montazer Mehdi, four U-turns will be constructed on the Mall Road for the signal-free project, and all junctions intersecting the Mall Road will be sealed. Citizens will be allowed to cross Mall Road by making a U-turn. Traffic will also be directed along the service lane that runs from High Court Chowk to the Governor’s House.
