Karachi: Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar inaugurated the Malir 15 flyover after five years of construction, according to a news report. The inauguration ceremony was held on 11th April 2018 after the final portion of the flyover, a link towards Azeempura, became operational. Present at the ceremony were Korangi District Municipal Corporation Chairmain Syed Nayyar Raza and other dignitaries.
The flyover spans over 130 metre in length, and 7.55m in width, and it was completed at a cost of PKR 95 million. The mayor has specified that the upkeep of the flyover should be maintained to maintain quality and standards, as this is a good facility for the residents of Azeempura and its surrounding areas.
