Lahore: Bahria Town CEO Malik Riaz Hussain has clarified through a Twitter post that the Bahria Town has not issued any booking forms for its upcoming Peshawar project. He further stated that the developer would not claim responsibility ‘for any payments made to fake agents’.

He said that ‘anyone trying to con public with fake Bahria Town forms will be reported to legal authorities’. He also revealed that the process for ‘completing requisite paperwork and procedures’ ahead of the official launch of the Bahria Town Peshawar project was underway.

Bahria Town will formally announce the launch date for its Peshawar project’s booking forms through print and electronic media advertisements, he stated.
Meanwhile, the Bahria Town administration has notified its decision to cancel the registrations of all such dealers and property agents found to be involved in luring the general public to purchase fake Bahria Town Peshawar booking forms.

In another development that took place recently, the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) revoked its notice that had barred Bahria Town from advertising its Peshawar project prior to seeking a formal approval from the civic agency.
Moreover, Bahria Town is currently in the process to acquire approvals and NOCs for its Peshawar project launch. These requisites were specified under the Local Government (Site Development Schemes) Rules, 2005, and the PDA Act, 2017.
