Lahore: Through his official Twitter account, Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain has announced his decision to grant a special extension in the deadline for Bahria Town Karachi overseas members who have yet to submit dues and apply for property possessions. As per details, these individuals can clear their dues and get possession of their property latest by May 15, 2020, whereas the deadline communicated for Pakistan-based Bahria Town Karachi property owners has been set for January 31.

In his tweet, Hussain also mentions that once the deadline expires, the non-complying members will pay non-utilisation charges as per the policy. The Bahria Town CEO also advised overseas members to contact Bahria Town offices for more details.
He further announced to grant a 15-day extension in deadline to local Bahria Town members for clearing their dues and applying for possession. Notices regarding both the extensions have been displayed at Bahria Town Karachi Head office.

As per the policy, Bahria Town will impose a fine of PKR 100,000 (in terms of non-utilisation charges) for three consecutive months on the members who didn’t clear their dues by the given deadline. After three months, Bahria Town will allocate their plots to another interested members and offer the non-complying members an alternate plot once they clear their payments.
