Lahore: Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has recently concluded a targeted waste clearance operation across key zones in Lahore, including Allama Iqbal Town, Kareem Block, Johar Town, and Thokar Niaz Baig, as reported by a news source a couple of weeks ago.

According to the details, this initiative aligns with the vision of ‘Suthra Punjab’ set forth by the Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Punjab. LWMC deployed specialised cleaning teams to notable spots such as G1 Market, Khokhar Chowk, Expo Centre, and Emporium Mall. Moreover, mechanical sweeping activities were conducted on major thoroughfares like Main Boulevard Gulberg, Canal Road, Jail Road, and Mall Road. The company’s commitment to cleanliness is geared towards preserving the city’s pristine allure.

Under the leadership of CEO Babar Sahib Din, more than 5000 containers spread across 9 towns were efficiently cleared during the morning shift. Citizens are urged to utilize LWMC’s designated dustbins for waste disposal and to report sanitation issues through helpline 1139 or social media platforms for swift resolution
