Lahore: Lahore Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sumbal, who is also the Lahore Ring Road (LRR) Authority Chairman, has said that inauguration of the LRR’s southern loop (SL-II) is expected to take place in the last week of November, according to a news report. He received a briefing during his visit to inspect the development status of the project.
Sumbal was told that that groundwork on SL-I and SL-II is 90% complete. He expressed satisfaction over the pace of development work, saying that the speed of development is fast-paced. While talking to media representatives, he said that the southern loop of LRR will open to traffic by the last week of November, as development work on SL-II in Kamahan, Gajju Matah and Adda Plot is nearing completion.
