Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has said that the 22.4 kilometre long southern loop of the Lahore Ring Road will open for traffic by July this year, according to a news source. The CM was attending a meeting to get an update on the development of pending projects.
Frontier Work Organisation (FWO) Director General Muhammad Afzal, who was also part of the meeting, said that 42% of the work on the project has been completed. Addressing the meeting, the CM stressed that the pace of development work needs to go up on the remaining eight kilometre LRR route.
