Moughal opined that lowering the taxes will allow more people to access this source of energy. He expressed his disapproval with the Nepra-imposed 55-paise per unit hike in power tariff for all power distribution companies to adjust the fuel cost for April 2019.
ICCI has called the decision is unfavourable decision in terms of economy. The chamber believes that it will increase cost of doing business and inflation, along with affecting the growth of business and industrial activities.

Moughal stated that the fossil fuels-generated energy was not only costly, but also a threat to the environment; especially while the government has spent billions of dollars on oil import.
