Lahore: A local pathology lab has launched a drive-through coronavirus testing facility in Lahore to ensure the safety of its staff and visitors, a news source reported (while citing the official statement issued by the company).
The drive-through coronavirus testing facility is now available at Chughtai Medical Center located at DHA Lahore’s Lalik Chowk. As per reports, people, arriving to get tested, will be able to register from the safety of their own cars, while the lab’s staff will be available to take the samples with complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The results can also be checked online to reduce the risk of getting infected.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government had also established a drive-through coronavirus testing facility in Karachi – the first of its kind. The centre had been established with the collaboration of local government and health departments, set up near the Jahangir Kothari Parade in Clifton.
