Lahore: The Lahore Metropolitan Corporation’s (LMC) planning wing is all set to launch a schedule of its anti-encroachment operations within the LMC’s jurisdiction today (Wednesday), according to news sources.

The department has also contracted assistance of the local police for the purpose. This anti-encroachment drive will continue from March 4 to March 30.
-What is the schedule of this anti-encroachment operation?
As per the communicated details, the schedule of this drive is as follows:
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of the Wahgah zone will commence between March 04 to March 06.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Data Ganj Baksh zone will commence between March 07 to March 09.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Samanabad zone will commence between March 10 to March 13.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Shalamar zone will commence between March 14 to March 16.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Aziz Bhatti zone will commence between March 16 to March 18.

- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Allama Iqbal zone will commence between March 19 to March 23.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Nishtar zone will commence between March 24 to March 26.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Gulberg zone will commence between March 26 to March 28.
- The operation against encroachments within the controlled area of Ravi zone will commence between March 28 to March 29.
- And finally, on March 30 a general operation clean-up against the illegal structures will be carried out within the city.
Reportedly, this schedule has already been forwarded to the LMC chief corporation officer.
