Rawalpindi: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the authorities concerned to develop a school and a hospital on 108 kanals of land in Dhoke Syedan, which was allotted and auctioned many years ago, according to a news source. The petition was filed by a senior lawyer Anwar Dar in 2009.
The petitioner told the court that Dhok Syedan has no school, hospital, or public park, and it was previously decided that the land will be converted into an educational institute. The land was later acquired and plotting was done on it for selling purposes.
The LHC cancelled land allotment and instructed the ministry concerned to construct a school, college and a hospital by getting the funds issued.
