Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that the authority will soon be auctioning off leasing right for its commercial venture ‘Walk & Shop Arena’ located on Khayaban-e-Firdousi in Johar Town, as per an advert published on the authority’s official Facebook handle on May 21.
The LDA Walk & Shop Arena spans over 130 kanals and houses 84 property units including; 84 shops, and 18 restaurant spaces. The leasing rights will be offered to a single business entity for 10 years.
The salient features of this project include an amusement park, spacious parking, water channels, an amphitheatre, mini golf, a terror house, virtual reality, Ferris wheel, joy rides and a rooftop restaurant.
Developed with an estimated budget crossing billions, the project is reported to feature a seamless blend of renowned architectural themes, including Mughal, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and American construction styles.
