According to reports, the LDA has announced a remarkable reduction in the time required for approving building plans for housing schemes. Previously, it took 30 days for approval, but now it will only take 3 working days. This decision to expedite the approval process was initiated by LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa, who emphasized the importance of making the entire process more focused on the needs of the public. This development is aimed at ensuring a smoother experience for all stakeholders involved.
Furthermore, the LDA is actively working on establishing an accessible online system to further streamline the approval process. This online platform is being designed to complement the existing physical channels, providing the public with multiple avenues for submitting and tracking their building plans.
