Kasur: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced a public hearing/stakeholders workshop on the planned and sustainable development of Kasur District. The said hearing will be held at District Council Hall on February 19 from 11 am onwards.

According to the advertisement on the LDA Facebook page, the meeting will discuss public issues such as water and sanitation, public transportation, industry and economy, education, health, population management, civic services, pedestrian and cyclist facilities, green land and farm management, cultural heritage, and other related issues. The seminar is a continuation of the government’s Lahore Division Master Plan 2050.
The LDA has invited a diverse range of stakeholders, interest groups, industrialists, public semi-government, autonomous bodies, private institutions and organisations, students, and citizens to come forward and submit their opinions/recommendations/suggestions and observations at the public hearing/workshop and in the LDA office to address ongoing issues and improve District Kasur. People can also participate in live sessions via ‘Facebook Live,’ the URL for which will be posted on https://www.lda.gop.pk.
