Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice Chairman S M Imran recently issued instructions to launch development projects in three of LDA’s housing schemes: Mohlanwal Scheme, Jubilee Town and LDA Avenue-1, a news source reported.

According to details, Imran had received complaints through the Citizen Portal where the allottees concerned had submitted a variety of complaints about these three housing schemes. As a result, the LDA official recently visited all three project sites.
He also reprimanded the officials concerned for delays in development, processing or uplift within these projects and instructed them to immediately launch development schemes for repair of roads and resolve other issues faced by the residents and allottees on a priority basis.

According to reports, the civic agency intends to launch development work, including the construction of a boundary wall to separate LDA Avenue-1 from an adjacent village, in these schemes. The boundary wall is expected to be constructed at a cost of PKR 47 million.
