Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has uploaded the initial draft of Land-use Rules 2019 on its official website, a news source reported. The authority has formed a committee to get formal approval for the new rules.
The LDA governing body recently approved these Building and Zoning Regulations 2019 for the purpose of promoting the construction of high-rise buildings in the city. The last time the LDA approved building and zoning regulations was 10 years ago. The new regulations will make construction of high-rise buildings easier by altering the old bylaws which prohibited such construction on smaller plots, with restrictions imposed on height limit.
