As per the reports, the project cost estimation and design have been prepared by National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK). Under the proposed design, a full-height underpass will be built at Khalid Butt Chowk near Cavalry Ground. Additionally, a single-way flyover will also be built at Ghoda Chowk towards Defense Mor. The completion of the project will result in a signal-free corridor for the traffic coming from and going towards Defence Mor and Cavalry ground, reducing commute time. After receiving design permission from Director General LDA Aziz Ahmed Tarar, LDA Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan forwarded PC-1 to the provincial government.
