Lahore: The governing body of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved a proposal to transfer the property of deceased individuals to their legal heirs without a court decree – a news source reported on December 10.

The decision was made in a meeting chaired by LDA Vice Chairman SM Imran. After the implementation of the proposal, the property will be conveniently transferred in the name of the legal heirs of deceased individuals after they produce family registration certificates issued by NADRA without the need for a court decree. This is expected to save time and money for citizens.
The authority also approved a working paper seeking appointment of commercial auditors for Wasa audit for the financial years 2012-13 to 2018-19.

In a related news, the Lahore Waste Management Company Chairman Malik Amjad Ali held a meeting of international contractors and relevant officials to discuss various cleanliness-related issues in the city. On the occasion, he requested the Turkish contractors to ensure and maintain the best possible cleanliness arrangements in the city.
