Lahore: The Punjab government will provide PKR 822 million for 11 developing ongoing projects initiated by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), reported a news source. The funds will be released during the fiscal year 2019-20.

The Punjab Urban Development Department has included these 11 projects in the Medium Term Development Framework 2019-22. Some of the projects were initiated in the fiscal year 2018-19. The provincial government also allocated funds to these projects during that year.
As per news sources, the development authority is set to complete these projects during the fiscal year 2019-20, which starts from July 1, 2019.

The projects include the construction of eight sports complexes in various parts of the provincial capital, and one in Kasur, along with the construction of Aik Moria Pull near Lahore Railway Station. For Aik Moria Pull alone, the estimated construction cost stands at PKR 100 million.
