Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on June 24, at 11 AM, will organise the second public seminar/stakeholder conference on Master Plan 2050 at Summer Palace, Lahore Fort, the news advertisement reported.

The proposed Master plan 2050 for Lahore is aimed at solving the problems of traffic, public transport, environment, industrialisation, urbanisation and social issues of the city. The conference is being held in collaboration with the Walled City Authority of Lahore.
The Authority has invited national and international consulting companies, as well as individuals, to the second public seminar/stakeholder conference to analyse, discuss, and learn from their international city planning experiences.

Moreover, LDA has asked the government, semi-government, private businesses and departments, as well as people, to submit proposals and ideas for the improvement of Lahore. The conference will also be aired live, and participants may virtually join it via Facebook or a Zoom link, the details of which will be provided on the LDA website, www.lda.gop.pk. In this regard, the authority has urged participants to submit their recommendations and complaints either in person to the Metropolitan Planning Wing at the LDA office, or they may raise their concerns during the conference.
