LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to establish a counter of Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) at its one-window cell in Johar Town, a news source reported. This is meant to facilitate plot owners in obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC). LDA Director General (DG) Amna Imran Khan and the PLRA DG Muhammad Aslam Rao inaugurate the facilitation counter.

Speaking on the occasion, LDA DG said that the counter will provide online property documents verification facility to citizens and help in minimising public complaints. LDA is now able to get online access to the PLRA database, which will help people who previously had to spend large amounts of time getting their land record documents verified by the revenue officials.
The facility allows LDA to access land record of plots situated in its housing schemes, and verification of land ownership, fard, mutation, registry, and other such documents will be achievable in little time.
