Lahore: The Government of Punjab has directed the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to commence work on three multibillion-rupee infrastructural development projects in Lahore, a news source reported on January 8.

These projects include Shahdra multi-level grade separation, Babu Sabu Interchange remodeling, and Akbar Chowk remodeling, underpass, and flyover projects.
As per the details, the provincial government wants development work on these projects to start this months (January). Reportedly, the necessary funds for these projects have already been transferred in LDA’s account.
As per the details, the LDA has issued tenders for all three projects, where the tender for Shahdra multi-level grade separation project is expected to be allotted on January 13. Development work on the remaining two projects is expected to begin in the last week of January.

It is important to note that the government has launched a number of projects focused on solving the traffic problems in the city. It has recently undertaken work on the Kalma Chowk Underpass remodeling project.
