Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried out an operation against illegal housing societies located on GT Road near Shahdrah and Mureedkay, reported a news source. In this operation, the civic body dealt with six illegal private housing societies yesterday.
During the operation, LDA officials demolished the illegally constructed structures in these societies including the boundary walls, road network, sewerage systems, and the sites of offices of the private real estate developers involved in setting up illegal housing societies and selling of plots to the general public.
