Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has started its topographic survey, designing and cost estimation for the construction of Shahkam Flyover, reported a news source. The project will be included in the list of infrastructural development the authority is to carry during the current fiscal year.
The decision has been taken to fix traffic issues on the road, where expansion of 8-Grade Chowk is also included in the plans. On the instructions of LDA Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan, the LDA Engineering Wing has started off with carrying out the topographic survey and designing of the project. Engineering Wing has also been assigned the task of carrying out cost estimates and land acquisition for the project. As soon as the project design and cost estimation work is finalised, the project will be sent to the Government of Punjab for further approvals.
