As per details, this new initiative is part of LDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance citizen services and streamline urban development processes. The LDA Citizen Facilitation Centre, also known as the One Window Cell, is now accepting residential building plans through its online portal. The entire processing of these plans, from submission to approval, will be conducted online. During a review at the E-Khidmat Centre, LDA Director General Tahir Farooq praised the online process and emphasised the authority’s commitment to reducing the time required for the approval of residential building plans. He also highlighted the LDA’s intention to phase out the traditional physical submission and approval system in favor of this more efficient digital approach.
