Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has set up an online payment facility for processing building layout approval and completion certificate requests, a news source reported. As per the publication, LDA Director General (DG) Sumair Ahmad Saeed recently chaired a meeting in this regard.

The DG revealed that as part of the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Programme, LDA would provide the online payment facility for the public starting from January 15. To obtain approvals for building layout plans and building completion certificates, individuals will be able to get online challan forms from all branches of Allied Bank across the country.
Saeed added that the individuals concerned would be able to pay the LDA dues at any branch of the bank, including the bank’s booth available at LDA’s One Window Cell facility. Additionally, people would have the option of paying their dues via internet banking, mobile phones, and at ATMs.
Additional DG Housing Ejaz Khaliq Razaqi, Director Finance Ahmar Suhail Kaifi, Director Computer Service Abdul Basit Qamar, Director Headquarters Ali Shehzad, Director Coordination Kamran Pervaiz, and other officials concerned also attended the meeting.
