Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has shared the details of its Area Development Project that has been introduced in order to encourage establishment of new commercial zones under Prime Minister’s vision for promoting construction industry – through publication in a local daily.

The initiative is also meant to generate employment and investment opportunities, help promote the construction industry and resolve problems of traffic in Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana districts.
Area Development Project allows for establishment of commercial zones on areas between 24 kanals and 200 kanals where commercial plazas, restaurants, showrooms, and offices can be set up. It is the perfect opportunity to provide all the commercial facilities at a single place and launch a profitable business.

LDA has also allowed the deposit of commercial fees in easy instalments extending up to 3 years instead of the previous timeline of 2 years.
