The previous deadline for the bidding prequalification process had been set for March 2, but the LDA officials had later decided to extend the date. Now the decision has been made to relaunch the process.
PEC-registered third-category firms will be able to participate in the prequalification process. The tenders will be awarded as a result of this process.
The cost of the project according to its PC-1 has been estimated at more than PKR 330 million — with the LDA expected to finish the project within six months by utilizing its own budget. The authority plans to allocate funds for the project sometime during FY2019-20.
