Lahore: In following through with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s vision of encouraging the growth of the local construction sector, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has established two additional counters at its one-window cell facility to further stoke the city’s developmental run, according to a news source published on July 14.

The newly-established counters have been operationalised to facilitate the increasing number of applicant’s visits – which have reached from 160 to 200 per day. These visitors are reported to be complying with the government-sanctioned standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coronavirus prevention.
As for now, over 140 applicants can submit their applications at the LDA’s one window cell at Johar Town Office, while 40 applicants can submit their applications for various works at the LDA Avenue One office.

Moreover, LDA Director General (DG) Ahmad Aziz Tararb visited the E-Khidmat Markaz at Arfa Kareem Software Park and spoke with the management for closer coordination between the two organisations – in a bid to effectively implement the Prime Minister’s package for the construction industry.
