As per the reports, National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) has begun working on the project’s design, which is being funded entirely by LDA resources. Furthermore, LDA will deploy first-of-its-kind precast underpass technology to reduce the project’s construction cost. In this regard, authorities have begun consultations with prominent engineering firms, contractors, and building professionals. According to the project’s proposed design, various adjustments would be made throughout the corridor’s length including the redesign of Jinnah Hospital and Johar Marriage Hall Junctions, while Ravi Restaurant Junction will be permanently closed.
