The recovery directorate of the Lahore Development Authority has collected Rs113.5 million during March on account of annual and permanent commercialisation fee from various localities of the city.
“The amount is 282 per cent more than the Rs40 million target for the month,” LDA Recovery Director Khwaja Muhammad Ali told newsmen on Monday.
He said the amount was recovered during a special campaign launched on the directives of LDA Director-General Abdul Jabbar Shaheen. Teams were constituted for recovering outstanding dues of commercialisation fees from Gulberg, Garden Town, Muslim Town and Allama Iqbal Town areas, he added.
