Lahore: Assistant Commissioners of Balochistan Government at Pakistan Provincial Services Academy, along with Section Officers, toured the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on 15th February, 2018, according to a news source. At this occasion Additional Director General Samia Saleem and various other officers visited different departments of LDA, and were briefed about the various duties and responsibilities of personnel there. They were also briefed about LDA’s housing schemes including Jubilee Town, Mustafa Town, and LDA Avenue-1.
The delegation was informed about the computerisation of LDA records and the procedures linked to it. Expenses from scanning and computerisation of over 80,000 plot files available in LDA have been translated into a new project. According to this new project, all records from plot registration will be stored in one place, instead of being stored in a multitude of places.
It is suggested that this process will remove any possibilities of fraudulent behaviour and make the entire process more transparent.
