Following the directives of LDA Director General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar, crackdowns were conducted separately in Johar Town and Mustafa Town — with the said 15 plots reclaimed by the officials of the Estate Management Directorates I & II.
LDA staff reclaimed the possession of a plot in Block E-1 of Johar Town, after the commissioner had cancelled it for ‘bonafide purchasers’. A single-story house had been constructed on the said plot, and the authority’s personnel had to evict the occupants before sealing the premises. Another commercial plot on Main Road Johar Town had also been cancelled, and was consequently also repossessed by the LDA staff.
