Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) launched its crackdown against six illegal housing societies in District Kasoor’s Tehsil Patoki, reported a news source. The LDA’s Directorate of Estate Management (DEM), under the supervision of DEM Director Bushra Naseer, managed the operation.

These illegal private housing schemes include Rose City, Khursheed Town, Al-Kareem City, Phool Nagar Avenue, Park City, and Sher Rabani Garden.

With the aid of heavy machinery, LDA officials dismantled road and sewerage lines in the societies mentioned. In addition, their boundary walls, site offices, electricity poles, and other built structures, were also razed to ground.
LDA also warned people against investing in these societies. Following the operation, it requested buyers to confirm the legal status of all societies before purchasing any property within.
