Lahore: Lahore Commissioner Zaid Bin Maqsood has urged the swift completion of Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) major projects, promising relief to the city’s residents, as per a news source on May 7.

According to the details, during his visit to the Ravi Bridge Extension Project and Controlled Access Corridor Closed Road, Commissioner Maqsood emphasised meeting project deadlines. Chief Engineer Israr Saeed highlighted the challenges faced, particularly in diverting the river for the Ravi Bridge expansion. Despite hurdles, progress is evident, with 91 out of 96 girders completed.

Commissioner Maqsood, accompanied by LDA DG Tahir Farooq, inspected the Bund Road project, noting ongoing traffic flow alongside construction. The focus now intensifies on accelerating work on service roads and drains.
