Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has prepared a plan to connect the Expo Centre in Johar Town with Lahore Ring Road (LRR) via Defence Road, according to a news report.
According to details, the state of the art project will be completed in two phases at an estimated cost of PKR 3.7 billion. In the first phase, an 11-kilometre road will connect the Expo Centre with Defence Road. The second phase will include the construction of a four-kilometre-long long route connecting the same road with LRR’s southern loop.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is meant to approve the project, and the approval is expected to come by April 4. After its approval, one portion of the project will be complete by March 2018.
