Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has made it mandatory for applicants seeking a possession order to provide specific documents along with their applications at the LDA One Window Cell, according to news published on May 08.

List of documents required for a possession order include the following:
- Two attested, certified photos
- Attested copy of a valid identity card
- Exemption letter or allotment letter
- Latest certified copy of the Sale Agreement Exemption Agreement
- Copy of the ownership franchise letter
- Three attested thumb rings and specimen signatures
- Biometrics of the applicant

The applicants are also advised to carefully review the needed documents prior to submitting their applications for possession order to avoid any delays in processing. In the absence of any of the said documents, the authority may reject the application.
The said guidelines are introduced to streamline the application process and ensure that only legitimate possession claims are processed. The LDA One Window Cell is resolved to offer efficient services to the masses and ensure that all applications are processed transparently and promptly.
