Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced December 25 as the last date to participate in the residential plots draw for Jubilee Town, Tajpura, and Johar Town, according to a news source on December 6.

Under the details, citizens can pay in 12 equal instalments over three years for fully developed plots in prime locations. This was discussed in a revenue generation meeting by LDA DG Tahir Farooq on Thursday. It was reported that LDA has surpassed the PKR 2 billion mark in auctions for the first time.
The DG emphasised action against commercial fee defaulters under a zero-tolerance policy and directed the submission of reports on illegal commercial activities within three days. He also instructed digital mapping of such properties to ensure compliance.

Meanwhile, LDA teams conducted anti-encroachment operations in Johar Town, G1 Market, Khokhar Chowk, and Canal Bank Road, clearing temporary and permanent encroachments from key areas.
