Lahore – TEPA (Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency) of LDA (Lahore Development Authority) plans to install 136,000 LED lights on the city roads of provincial capital.
The project has been launched to save energy and under this project, existing sodium lights would be replaced with LED lights and in the second phase this system would be switched to solar energy.
TEPA Chief has said that the related data has been gathered and proposals would be invited from private firms. He also said that every bid would be evaluated and approved in context of Government’s Policy.
