Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is devising plans to introduce cycling tracks along major roads to promote cycling within the city, according to a report released on May 15.

According to the details, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) held discussions with LDA Director General Tahir Farooq to explore possibilities for implementing a cycling track in the provincial capital. The primary objective of the meeting was to advance cycling infrastructure by initiating a feasibility study for a comprehensive master plan.

Additionally, the discussions encompassed strategies to combat environmental pollution, enhance traffic flow, improve pedestrian facilities, and optimise parking arrangements along MM Alam Road.
