Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has prepared Project Concept-1 (PC-1) of five mega projects in the city, worth PKR 22.9 billion, news sources reported on August 17.

As per the details, the authority has sent the revised proposal of the projects to the Punjab government for final approval. It was mentioned that the costs were revised due to the increased building material prices. The following are the details of the projects that were sent for approval:
- PKR 9 billion requested for the construction of Shahdrah mega project
- PKR 4.95 billion for the construction of the Gulshan-e-Ravi T-Junction project
- PKR 4.30 billion was requested for the construction of the Gulberg Signal free corridor project
- PKR 2.21 billion has been sought for the construction of the Samanabad Underpass project
- PKR 1.68 billion for the construction of the Saggian Road Package 3 Jaranwala Road project
- PKR 755 million has been requested for the construction of six pedestrian bridges across the city.

Moreover, the LDA has asked the Punjab government to allow the construction of these projects in the ongoing financial year.
