Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Aamir Ahmed Khan has directed the concerned authorities to address the land-related issues of overseas Pakistani on a priority basis, news sources reported on September 7.

The DG also directed the concerned officials to set up a dedicated online portal to facilitate non-resident Pakistanis.
During his surprise visit paid to the LDA One Window Operation Center, the DG asked concerned authorities to ensure fast-track resolution of all matters. He also directed that dedicated staff be placed on duty to serve senior citizens and women and guide them at each process step.
He said that turning LDA into a modern and better land management authority is his goal. He directed the LDA staff to work for the early resolution of all matters brought to the One Window Center.

In recent years, the LDA platform has undergone several improvements, including introducing an e-bidding facility for public auctions of plots and establishing an ‘Overseas Pakistani Desk’ to protect the properties of Pakistanis residing abroad.
