Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Chairman Muhammad Usman Muazzam has directed the officials of the civic agency to put an end to all operations illegal housing schemes within 15 days – a news source reported.
He directed LDA officials to relaunch the grand operation against land mafia, illegal construction, encroachments, unapproved housing schemes, and illegal commercial activities.

The people illegally occupying government property have also been warned against repercussions in case they fail to vacate said properties within 15 days.
LDA plans to continue this large-scale operation until all encroachments detected have been removed, and the roads and buildings have been restored to their original conditions, a statement issued by the authority revealed.

The body has advised all encroachers to remove any illegal structures, or face strict action. In cases of noncompliance, such structures will be demolished and the cost of the demolishing operation will be received from such people.
