Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) achieved a major milestone in 2024 by successfully sifting through 65,246 property files, according to LDA Director General Tahir Farooq. This news has been sourced from an article on December 28.

According to the details, presenting the authority’s annual performance report on Friday, DG Farooq highlighted the positive reception of the Citizen Facilitation Centre by the public. He announced plans for further upgrades to the centre to enhance its services.
The report detailed that the Citizen Facilitation Centre received 47,818 applications in 2024, of which 46,909 were processed. Among these, 18,700 sifted files were handled at the facility.
Key accomplishments for the year included the issuance of 4,647 No Objection Certificates (NOCs), 613 completion certificates, and approvals for 8,610 residential building plans. Following the introduction of the Online Building Plan Approval system, 1,106 residential plans were approved digitally.

In addition, the LDA transferred 2,810 properties through its Property Transfer Cell. The authority is also advancing construction efforts to establish a Central Monitoring System at the Citizen Facilitation Centre, aiming to streamline operations further.
