Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has accelerated work on the Controlled Access Corridor Block Road and Ravi Bridge Extension Project, according to a news article on August 8.

According to the details, the plan is to meet targets set by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz despite monsoon challenges.

- Controlled Access Corridor Block Road: LDA Director General Tahir Farooq inspected progress, with Chief Engineer Asrar Saeed noting the near completion of work on both sides of the Saggian to Babu Sabu service road, and ongoing asphalt and water-bound work on a 1.7 km section.
- Babu Sabu Toll Plaza: Construction is in its final stages, removing encroachments and creating a green belt.
