Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday (May 26) visited the offices of LDA Avenue-1, news sources reported. He directed the officers to maintain effective safety measures for the scheme’s data security.

According to reports, on his first visit to the LDA Avenue-1 office, the newly-appointed DG visited several departments of the projects and examined current development activity. The LDA officers informed the DG of the project’s operations. Randhawa directed the officers to maintain effective fire safety procedures in order to preserve the residents’ files and data.
He also urged the concerned departments to maintain the maximum degree of security for the residents and to renovate the schemes’ parks and roads. He also instructed the officers to create a committee to address concerns related to the development of the schemes on a priority basis. It is worth noting that LDA Avenue-1 is one of the LDA’s own initiatives.

The LDA management has acquired land in the adjoining Chiniot Housing Scheme to accommodate file holders.
