The newly introduced LDA mobile app is poised to become a game-changer for residents of Lahore, offering a wide range of services and vital information at their fingertips. Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that the mobile app would enable citizens to access all LDA services conveniently.
One of the key features of the application is its capacity to provide information about the status of various private housing societies. This functionality empowers potential investors to make informed decisions by checking the legitimacy of housing societies before making financial commitments. The app includes comprehensive lists of approved housing societies and highlights illegal ones, safeguarding residents from potential scams and fraudulent schemes.
To ensure that the application caters to the needs of the citizens effectively, a delegation of journalists accompanied Commissioner Lahore and the LDA Director-General on a visit to the One Window Cell. During this visit, feedback was actively gathered from citizens present at the location, in the presence of the media representatives.
Commissioner Randhawa shared insights into the comprehensive revamping of the One Window Cell and the measures undertaken as per the directives of the Chief Minister. He also revealed that LDA had initiated a program called ‘Dastak LDA at Doorstep,’ which offers free home services to senior citizens aged 75 and above. Additionally, a premier service is available for citizens willing to pay a fee.
