Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to launch its hotline and web portal services in a bid to facilitate the public, a news source reported. The hotline would help people connect with LDA officers without hindrance. Moreover, the public would be able to use the web portal for registering their complaints.

LDA Vice Chairman (VC) Sheikh Muhammad Imran revealed these details during a meeting with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) President Almas Haider at the LCCI building in Lahore.
Imran stated that they had undertaken measures to reorganise the LDA so it could become a proper corporate institution meant to serve the public. He added that the role of LCCI was of central importance for the promotion of development and business activities in the city.

The LDA VC also informed the members of the chamber about the suggestions proposed for promotion of vertical expansion of Lahore. He added that these measures wold help meet the residential requirements of the citizens.
