Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has processed 90,000 files as part of its land record digitization project and is now collaborating with the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) to finalize the remaining records.
During a review meeting chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, senior officials, including PLRA DG Ikram-ul-Haq and Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Sohaib Butt, discussed strategies to accelerate the process. LDA emphasized the need for additional technical resources, and PLRA’s teams will formulate a roadmap for swift completion.

The meeting also focused on improving the property transfer system at the Citizen Facilitation Centre through better technology integration and enhanced coordination between LDA and PLRA.
DG LDA Tahir Farooq reaffirmed that completing the record digitization remains a top priority, with PLRA’s support ensuring efficient and transparent management of land records.
